We observe every child's development from the first days. When a child needs more support with speech, movement or settling in, we run individual sessions and help plan the next steps.
Specialist support is extra help for a child who develops at a different pace than peers in one area, or needs a different way of working: with speech, movement, concentration, emotions or settling into a group. It does not mean there is a serious problem. It usually starts with observation and a conversation with parents.
At Magiczna Kraina nursery and kindergarten, part of the support happens on site. In the nursery, we observe children's speech and run individual sessions when needed. In the kindergarten, individual speech therapy takes place once a week, and corrective gymnastics is part of the timetable. When a diagnosis is needed, we help you find out where to go.

Kindergarten: corrective gymnastics once a week
Corrective-compensatory gymnastics works on movement and posture. Rhythmics takes place twice a week in both the nursery and the kindergarten.
A gradual start in the group
In the nursery, children have stable carers in small groups. In the kindergarten, weekly settling-in classes support the start. Each child joins the group at their own pace.
Talking things through
We share what we see in the group and ask about what happens at home. When a diagnosis is needed, we help you decide where to go: a doctor, a psychological and pedagogical counselling centre (poradnia psychologiczno-pedagogiczna) or early development support.
Babbles simple syllables such as “ba-ba” or “ma-ma”. No babbling after the first birthday is a reason to seek advice.
First short sentences. Speech develops fastest between 18 and 28 months.
Vowels and some consonants are clear. Many three-year-olds are still hard to understand. Watch whether speech keeps developing.
Longer sentences and fuller pronunciation. The child tells you more eagerly about what happened.
Speech is mostly understood by people outside the family. If sound errors persist, consult a speech therapist.
This is not a diagnosis. A doctor or a psychological and pedagogical counselling centre makes the diagnosis. Our role is observation in the group, supporting classes and conversations with parents. Every child develops at their own pace.
Teachers and carers notice speech, movement, and how the child plays and makes contact with others.
We share what we see in the group and ask what happens at home.
We agree what would help: individual sessions, changes in group work or simple exercises at home.
We return to the plan regularly and check whether it works. If needed, we refer the child on to specialists.
In the kindergarten, yes: individual speech therapy and corrective gymnastics are included in the tuition. In the nursery, sessions take place when needed. We will explain the billing during the conversation.
Consider it if, after the first birthday, the child does not babble simple syllables, speaks clearly less than peers, or swaps, distorts or drops sounds without improvement. A pediatrician can also recommend a consultation.
A psychological and pedagogical counselling centre (poradnia psychologiczno-pedagogiczna) makes diagnoses and issues opinions. We observe the child every day in the group and run supporting classes. Both can work together.
It is free support for children with a disability or at risk of disability, from the moment it is noticed until school starts. Parents submit an application, and a team at a public psychological and pedagogical counselling centre issues an opinion on the need for support. Rules can change, so check current information with the centre.
No. Extra sessions help a child develop at their own pace. Support is not a label. What matters most is that your child feels safe and confident in the group.
Call or write to us. We will arrange a conversation about what we have noticed and what we can do in the centre.
